Trail

A Saturday morning and a time for cleansing the soul. I was tempted to drive a bit far away and hike. One of my peaceful spots is the Violette's Lock. I was at the trail head maybe around 7 ish. I headed North on the CNO canal past Riley's Lock and further until I thought it would be better to head back. I think I covered 6.5 miles before I turned around. I was listening to my Pimsleur Language Italian books and it kept me thoroughly engaged all along. I had not taken my camera so I was less distracted by the beauty around. Just me and my Italian. It was a good 13 mile hike. I forgot to shut off my GPS when got into the car so the last bit is odd!
