Trail

It was early on Saturday. A bit chilly. Headed out on Fairfax drive toward Rosslyn, then to the Arlington Cemetery. Walking through Arlington Cemetery is simply wonderful. It is peaceful and quiet. You also get a beautiful of the district from the top. I got back via the National Mall to 15th St. NW and H St. to Foggy Bottom. By then I felt it was best to take the metro back. Alas, the metro was not operating between Foggy Bottom and Courthouse. There was free shuttle. I took it. At Courthouse I thought why not hike back so hiked back home. I always wanted to take that free ride. :)
