Trail

It was a Sunday afternoon, the weather was great. I had to get out as I had worked the whole morning. I planned on a short jaunt, which landed up taking me about 4 hours and through 11 miles of beautiful evening walk along the Potomac. I took Wilson Blvd. to the Key Bridge, crossed into DC and took the CNO canal North to Chain Bridge and too N. Glebe Rd all the way back. This is not a nice part of the day to walk along Glebe as the road is busy, yet the lovely spring evening was mesmerizing and I forgot about the vehicle except when I was cross the side streets.
