Trail

This is a nice hike if you start early in the morning when N. Glebe is relatively quiet and the rising sun paints the trees a glowing red. I never tire of this path that leads you to the Chain bridge either by staying on N. Glebe Rd. or meandering via the side lanes that take you along streams and parks and eventually land up at Chain Bridge. From there you can either head south on the Virginia side to Key Bridge and Mt. Vernon trail, or on the CNO canal to George town. Today I headed North toward Great Falls. I turned around just past the bridge that carries I495 (the beltway). It was lovely as usual. Lots of birds.
