Point of Rocks never ceases to fascinate. I was determined to try out another solution to carry my camera gear. I had bought a fancy harness that you could hang to your neck, with several clips and hooks. So I hung my camera around my neck and walked North on the CNO canal from Point of Rocks. In about 3 miles the camera became a literal pain in the neck. I had my sling bag that carries all my camera lenses. So I decided to hang the bag to the back of the harness (the harness has that facility). Lo and behold! it worked. The weight of the bag balanced my camera and distributed the weight on both shoulders instead of the neck. I happily continued hiking up to Brunswick and back, a total of 11 and odd miles! Loved it. Point of Rocks takes me to another world....
