Another beautiful Sunday morning. When I am up early, I like to walk along N. Glebe to Chain Bridge. That was precisely what I did. Instead of heading straight along Glebe I tend to meander down some of the inner streets what lead to a few parks along brooks and through beautiful neighborhoods. I think was listening to the Great Expectations. Above the narrator I heard a loud rat a tat and I knew my friendly woodpecker was busy finding tapping away. I eventually located him and took a lot of pictures. Then I headed to Chain Bridge along Military Rd., crossed Chain Bridge to the CNO canal, headed South on the CNO canal to Key Bridge, crossed Key Bridge into Virginia and headed home via Wilson Blvd. Lovely day indeed.
