Hiking to Arlington Cemetery, February 5, 2012: 05 Feb, 2012 (9 miles)
It was a chilly Super-bowl Sunday. We headed out East on Fairfax Dr. toward Rosslyn. Continuing on Clarendon Blvd. until Fort Myer Dr. we turned right until Iwo Jima Memorial. Crossed the park and entered Arlington Memorial. There we headed up to Arlington House that provides some splendid views of DC. We went past the Arlington house upto the Tomb of Unknown Soldier and then headed back to the gate and back home on Wilson Blvd. It was a good 10 miles.
