Ballston VA to Key Bridge and Chain Bridge, DC 5 February, 2011 (12 miles): 05 Feb, 2011 (11 miles)
A cold day with gusty winds. I had to get out and brave it. So I donned my gore-tex jacket and pants and off I went down E. Custis trail to Key Bridge, crossed into DC, joined the CNO canal north to Chain Bridge and headed home. It was cold but worth it.
