Trail

It was one of the hottest days of the year, at a sweltering 100 degrees! I had a new Columbia shirt that I wanted to test. I took off at 6 a.m. with about a gallon of frozen gatorade. Heading north on N. Glebe Rd. I crossed Chain Bridge into DC and headed North on the CNO canal. About 5 hours later I was at Great Falls. It was hot, I was sweating profusely, and there were barely a few souls braving the heat. A great day to enjoy the solitude on the CNO canal. A few minutes at the Great Falls, and a few pictures with my new iPhone 4 and I headed back home. It was not so bad as the first time we did this hike in March. I was in pain, but no high fever and such....
